 Description:  Governor JB Pritzker signed Public Act 101-0010 (the FY2020 Budget Implementation Act) into law on June 5, 2019. Included in the law was an amendment to the School Construction Law authorizing the creation of a School construction Task Force to review the existing School Construction Grant Program and providerecommendations for revising the School Construction Law and implementing a sound capital program to support the capital needs of public schools in this state, early childhood programs, and vocational education programs.
